Department Rules

The English Department would like me to:

• stand behind my chair in silence when I come into the room until I am seated
• stand behind my chair in silence at the end of the lesson until I am dismissed
• try my best at all times
• always hand my homework in on time
• be polite and respectful to everyone in my class
• be polite and respectful to the teacher(s)
• present my work as neatly as I possibly can
• always bring a class reader to the reading lessons
• listen whilst other people are talking – especially the teacher
• always ask for help if I need it – never sit and panic in silence
• always bring equipment and books to ALL my lessons
