the marketing mix

The term ‘marketing mix’ is used to describe the key elements that an
organisation offers in order to meet its customers’ needs. It is one of
the most important concepts in leisure and tourism marketing.

The marketing mix is often referred to as the ‘4Ps’. These are:

Product

This is what products you are offering to your customers. For example McDonalds offer Big Macs, Cheeseburger and McFlurries etc.

 

 

Price

This is the price that you are charging for a particular product.

Place

The place that you are offering your products and services from.

 

Promotion

These are methods used to get people to buy their goods and services.
