SWOT analysis

You will need to know how a SWOT analysis is used by organisations to help them find out how they are performing.

SWOT analysis involves looking at:

Strengths

This is something that is an internal factor and therefore something that the company can control. These are what the company or business does well.

 

 

Weaknesses

These are again internal factors and therefore the company or business can control them. They are aread for development or points things that need to be worked on to improve.

 

Opportunities

These are outside the control of the organisation but they are things that could happen to improve the business or company and gain them extra revenue.

 

Threats

These are also external and therefore not under control of the company and they are things that may threaten the business of company and make them loose money.
